General Policies

1. What is the length of our day?

Stepping Stones operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

2. Do you operate year round?

Yes

3. Do you take a vacation?

Yes. The week between Christmas and New Years, and the 13th week of the year (usually the last week of March) Stepping Stones is closed.

4. What age children do you accept?

Infants as young as 3 months to children up to and including the age of kindergarten.

5. Do we need to pack a lunch?

Yes, we eat lunch at approximately 11:30 a.m provided by you.
Snacks are served at 10:00 am and 2:00 p.m. I have crackers and juice available.

6. Do we need to provide anything further?

Yes. Diapers for those in need. A change of clothes for all, just in case the need arises. Also, be aware of the weather, we try to       go outside everyday weather permitting, so please make sure your children are prepared.

7. What is your policy regarding child illness?

My exclusion for illness policy is, in the event your child becomes ill at my house, I will notify you immediately. If prior to coming in the morning your child has a fever or any contagious ailment, please refrain from bringing him/her and infecting others.

8. Are the children ever left to play on their own?

No. The children are supervised at all times.

9. Do you provide transportation?

No. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to make arrangements for transportation.

10. What is your pick-up/drop-off policy?

When your child is dropped off, he/she is in my care until an authorized adult comes to pick up the child.
